You Californians are very special when it comes to fruits, there is a list of literally “forbidden fruits” (no kidding) that are not allowed into California. The reason these fruits are not allowed is because they might carry regional insects like the Caribbean Fruit Fly that might affect the crops in the state.

 

Which Fruits are on the California “Forbidden List”?

 

 

If you live in the beautiful state of California and mistakenly order any of these fruit boxes we’ll cancel your order automatically and issue a store credit you can use in any other box.

 

If you order any of these fruits in the Create your own box as an option, we’ll either swap out to another fruit per your request or give you a higher weight of your other selections.

Everything that is sourced by us can be traced back to the farm in which it was picked from and on what date. We don’t mess around with the safety of our produce.

Our produce comes mostly from family farms in Florida, California, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. We also receive specialty produce from different parts of Asia and South Africa to name a few.

 

The same produce that we handle is also carried by major retailers & wholesalers throughout the USA.

 

The farmer families that we have partnered with have been growing the same produce for generations and are true experts on the field. We all share one thing in common and its focusing on the quality taste of what is being produced no matter what it takes. We all eat what we sell and take pride in our produce.

Absolutely! If you placed a custom order or need to swap anything in the box, you can include it in the notes or better yet, chat with us or call us and we’ll take care of it.

 

Awesome! LOTS of fruit goodness. Note that they may ship on different days of the week depending on when they are picked/or come in to us. If they are all on site, please note that multiple boxes may be consolidated for shipping, but you will ALWAYS receive the same total box weight of each fruit box.
